    Korean currency from the Korean War. 1000 Won. During that period, Chinese was used on the bills, which is evident on this currency. The green ink of the bill is printed on yellowing paper with light pink swirls on one side. A photograph of a man is in the circle on the left side of the bill. The number "66" has been stamped twice in red ink. The opposite side of the bill reads "The Bank of Korea" along the top and "1000 Won" underneath it.
